How fast would the U-Bolt bolt?

That was the question on everyone’s lips when the Jamaican superstar lined up for the 100m final at the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Berlin.

During the championships, Jump Media Productions was contracted by Fox Sport News to provide daily news packages that featured athlete interviews direct from the mixed zone, exclusive behind the scenes emotive vision of Australian coaches and supporters and rare insights into the thoughts, emotions and excitement direct from the venue.

Daily news packages were filmed, narrated, scripted, produced and uploaded by Jump direct to Fox Sports News back in Australia. Packages were on high rotation on Fox Sports News throughout the nine days of the championships, providing exclusive and timely updates for Australian audiences.

Jump also provided a vital service for fans, friends and family of competing Aussie athletes by filming post event interviews and uploading these directly to You Tube – all within a matter of minutes of the interview being recorded.

This shooting, editing, reporting service of Jump Media Productions is indicative of the self service style we offer to bring the biggest events, the best athletes in the world, and the moments that matter to the largest possible audience via television and online media.

Jump’s Michelle Cook was also in Berlin acting as team media manager of the Australian team. Michelle’s role was to service the Australian media both in Berlin and back in Australia, managing athlete and team management interview requests and providing daily reports on the Aussies in action to maximise the coverage. The press releases carried links to the online athlete interviews and Fox Sports News packages, providing a fully integrated media and multi-media service.

If you want to bring your next sporting event to the eyes and ears of fans from around the world, Jump Media Productions has the necessary skills and technology to make this happen.

Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thanks for all your hard work to date from Berlin, where you're doing a great job. The packages and interviews are coming up brilliantly, and are getting extensive runs on Fox Sports News, really raising the profile of athletics on the channel. We really appreciate what you're doing.
