Aussie Aths Fans Supporters’ Tour

2019 IAAF World Championships, Doha

We all love field and track and there’s nothing better than watching the world’s best in action.

Actually, there’s one thing that’s better, and that’s when you’re sitting amongst friends cheering for Australia’s best athletes as they take on the world at the world championships.

For the third time, we are proud to present the Aussie Aths Fans Supporters’ Tour to the IAAF World Championships.

Anyone who came on our Beijing or London tours will tell you what a great time we all had, whether you had a family member, friends or training partners on the team or you just like to watch athletics with other Aussie Aths fans.

And you get to experience unforgettable moments like this…

DOHA 2019

Friday 27 September – Sunday 6 October 2019

Doha is different and as IAAF president Sebastian Coe told us during the Commonwealth Games, there’s plenty to see and do.

Check out Coe’s personalised message to our tour group here.

If a direct message from the big boss isn’t enough, here’s the official Doha 2019 trailer to further inspire you…

With an average October temperature of 35 degrees during the day and 25 at night, midnight marathons and later afternoon and evening sessions, there’s a bit to be said for lying by the pool during the day… watching the world’s best field and track athletes at night.

Plus, some dune bashing, camel rides, shopping, markets and cultural activities… or… just more lying by the pool!

We will be staying at a luxurious 5 star hotel that has a sensational pool and is close to the heart of the city. It even has an ice-skating rink in the shopping centre next door. Very Doha.

To make it easy to get to and from the stadium in the hot weather, we have our own dedicated Aussie Aths Fans Supporters’ Tour bus to take us to and from the stadium each evening.

And one more bonus is that it’s the school holidays across all Australian states in 2019…. Which is good news for the teachers in our group who want to come along.

As we have done for Beijing and London, we will look after all the details, providing easy booking at the best possible prices with our travel partner Mummu Sport. Mummu managed all the logistics for our London tour and are leaders in sports related travel and logistics, including as an official partner of the Tour de France.

There are two tour packages on offer – a land only package and a flights and land package, and bookings are now open.

To secure you spot before places sell out, please complete the online booking form and submit the required deposit – $500 per person.
