After 21 years we are going out with a bang

This year we have celebrated Jump’s 21st year of operation.

What a ride it has been.

During the past two decades we have been honoured to work on world championships across a range of sports including cycling, athletics and gymnastics, be in the centre of the action at the Asian Cup Football, help raise millions of dollars for charity, been there to welcome Australian sporting superstars in the Hall of Fame, produced live TV, sold hundreds of thousands of event entries and spectator tickets and helped change the game for many events and clients.

But after 21 years, it’s time for a change and to announce something we have been working towards.

We are going out with a bang… Tiger Woods and the world’s best golfers at the Presidents Cup this December, after which Jump Media & Marketing will cease operations in its current form.

Before that all our energies will go into our 7th Sport Australia Hall of Fame Awards Gala and 4th Australian Masters Games in October. We will be in Doha next week for our Aussie Aths Fans Supporters' Tour at the World Athletics Championships, and our 2021 tour to Oregon is well advanced.

Plus, our new Aussie Aths business continues to go from strength to strength with our kids’ health and fitness program operating in eleven venues across two states. This is something Sam will focus more time on in 2020.

Many of our clients have been with us for long periods (10+ years), and we thank them for their terrific support and the trust they’ve shown in us.

We have had many wonderful staff over the years, and we enjoy watching them continue to grow in their careers. Last month we had a former intern interview a current intern for their first job… which she got.

Running your own business is exhilarating, nerve-wracking, fulfilling and exhausting and the pace is relentless. So it’s time to close this chapter. Through Jump we have been able to achieve many of our personal and professional goals… however it’s time to freshen up with a new focus and new goals.

So, after the final putt of the Presidents Cup drops on Sunday 15th December, we will wrap the event and with it we will close the doors, have a well-earned rest and bound out of the blocks in 2020 with renewed enthusiasm.
